1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services, websites, and applications provided by AccountWatch ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
AccountWatch provides a service that integrates with your Slack workspace to monitor, analyze, and generate reports based on conversations in the public channels you designate. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We assume no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, or failure to store any user data or communications.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use the Service, you must authorize AccountWatch through your Slack account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the security of your Slack account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
4. User Content and Intellectual Property
We respect your ownership of your data.
- Your Content: You retain full ownership of all the content and data from your Slack channels ("User Content"). Any reports, analytics, or content generated by the Service from your User Content also belong to you.
- Our Platform: The Service's infrastructure, code, and functionality are the exclusive property of AccountWatch.
- Limited License to Us: By adding the AccountWatch app to a Slack channel, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, use, process, and display the User Content from that channel solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service for you. This includes sharing textual data with third-party AI model providers for analysis, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service. You are solely responsible for your conduct and your data related to the Service.
6. Termination
You can terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the AccountWatch app from your Slack workspace. Upon termination, we will delete your User Content from our active systems within 30 days, unless legally required to retain it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including for a violation of these Terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of our Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccountWatch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
